IBC2024 (International Broadcasting Convention) is behind us and we were there too, an overview...
Spectera
The biggest news, in our opinion anyway, came from the Sennheiser corner. Their new Spectera wireless system is a reinvention of what existed up until now in wireless systems. Up to 64 channels in a single rack unit, both transmit and receive with the same beltpack, we haven't seen the last of this!
Teamconnect Ceiling Medium
In addition, Sennheiser introduces their new Teamconnect Ceiling Medium, the smaller version of the well-known Teamconnect
This brings the adaptive, beamforming technology to a smaller format for the perfect virtual meeting environment.
DPA Microphones is a renowned brand specializing in the manufacturing of high-quality microphones. Their microphones are used in a wide range of applications, from live music performances to studio recordings.
DPA 2061 Omnidirectional Miniature Microphone
DPA presents their new, cheaper version of their omnidirectional miniature lavaliers. These contain a fixed connector, no CORE cell, but the well-known DPA sound for a very competitive price.
These are again 5mm in diameter and can also be used perfectly in humid conditions! They exist as always in a black, brown and beige version, but this time also in white, for the connectors you can choose from LEMO, TA4F and minijack.
DM7

Model 2400
Also new is the Model 2400 24-Track Recording Console.
An analog mixer with a digital heart that allows you to record 24 tracks directly on the table or via your favorite DAW. The sound card works in both directions, so mixing your tracks from your DAW on the table is also perfect!
SMPTE2110
Blackmagic Design has also jumped firmly on the SMPTE2110 bus, there is now a whole range of converters that work on this standard!
SLX-D Portable Wireless System
New at Shure were the new SLX-D sets for ENG and EFP applications. These contain a portable receiver with all the advantages of the SLX-D system!
