Austrian Audio - the Austrian producer from Vienna - has also developed a more extensive variant (OC818) in addition to the OC18, which has both a standard XLR output and a mini XLR output. Via this mini-XLR you can separately capture the back of the microphone, in order to compare different microphone characteristics by adjusting the two volumes. This way you can perfectly control the directivity on your mixing desk.

Both the OC18 and the OC818 are available in a studio and in a live set.
