RF RELIABILITY
- Even under the most difficult conditions, Axient Digital delivers excellent signal quality with maximum stability, long range and crystal clear sound quality — anywhere, anytime.
- Completely renewed digital radio connection and channel quality measurement. The high-quality modulation scheme delivers maximum signal stability. The five-segment Channel Quality meter displays a real-time analysis of the RF signal-to-noise ratio that allows range estimation and indication of sources of interference.
- True Digital Diversity. Axient Digital better protects you against reflection interference, signal decay and other RF disturbances by using two separate RF signals per channel and a combination algorithm that maximizes reception quality.
- Quadversity™. By using four antenna inputs per channel, Quadversity provides better coverage and separate zones can also be set up. It also reduces reflection interference and RF disturbances.
- Transmitters and receivers with a large spectrum range. The operating area of up to 184 MHz for all transmitters and receivers provides extensive strategic spectrum coverage and simplifies inventory management for suppliers and users.
- Efficient spectrum use. The robust High Density transmission mode dramatically increases the number of available channels, up to 47 active channels per 6 MHz television band (63 channels per 8 MHz band) — all without loss of sound quality.
- Transmission range. Adjustable transmission modes and transmission powers deliver maximum range and optimal sound quality, with robustness comparable to analog systems, interference-free muting and fast signal recovery along the limits of the range.
- Frequency Diversity. Maximizes signal quality by sending two identical signals on separate frequencies. When the quality of the active signal decreases, it automatically switches to the other signal. With the ADX2FD handheld transmitter, Axient Digital continuously monitors reception and combines the signals into perfect audio reproduction.
- Interference Detection & Avoidance. Real-time monitoring via the AXT600 spectrum manager allows audio engineers to avoid RF interference by manually selecting a clean backup frequency or allowing the system to do so automatically.
SOUND QUALITY
- Axient Digital stretches the quality limits for both RF quality and sound transmission. With impressively low latency, its clear frequency response and wide dynamic range, Axient Digital puts delivering natural and pure sound first. Shure delivers sound quality you can rely on in any environment.
- Ultra-low latency. Unsurpassed: only 2 milliseconds from microphone converter to analogue output, guaranteeing seamless and undisturbed sound transmission. (The latency value is mode dependent. The latency of High Density mode is 2.9 ms.
- Crystal clear sound. The flat frequency response over a wide range from 20 Hz to 20 kHz delivers accurate audio reproduction.
- Encryption. 256-bit AES encryption (Advanced Encryption Standard) ensures secure connections that cannot be eavesdropped.
- Dynamic range. Wide dynamic range of 120 dB(A) delivers an impressive signal-to-noise ratio with accurate transient response.
- Digital outputs. Dante™ and AES67 digital audio transmission via a customizable four-port switch, for combined control and audio transmission, or separate streams for redundancy. A separate AES3 output provides pure digital audio if desired.
COMMAND & CONTROL
- Remote control via ShowLink®, Wireless Workbench® software, the ShurePlus™ Channels iOS app and network battery monitoring deliver an unprecedented level of insight and control.
- Wireless Workbench & the ShurePlus Channels app. Wireless Workbench provides control over all remote control functions and features an enhanced interface, advanced timeline functions and RF spectrum plots, as well as frequency coordination and monitoring during live performances. In addition, mobile control and monitoring is also possible via the ShurePlus Channels iOS app.
- ShowLink Remote Control. All transmitter parameters of ADX transmitters can be fully controlled remotely in real time with ShowLink via a robust, wireless 2.4 GHz diversity connection, so technicians can change the settings centrally from the control room.
- Dante™ Cue & Dante™ Browse. At the touch of a button, Dante Cue sends the monitoring signal from any desired Axient Digital channel in the network to a central headphone jack. Dante Browse enables high-quality monitoring of any Dante device on the network.
- Charging stations with network connection. Smart, powerful batteries and charging systems provide detailed information where critical parameters can be read remotely: such as the remaining operating time in hours and minutes and the charging status.
